Dr. Ajoy Prasad Shetty is the Senior Consultant in Spine Surgery at Ganga Medical Centre and Hospitals Pvt. Limited, Coimbatore, India.

At present he is the Chairman of AO SPINE INDIA ,Past Secretary of ASSI, and Indian representative for Asia Pacific Spine Society. . He is also an active member of the ASSI <IOA, Asia Pacific Spine Society ,Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) and International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT).

Dr. Ajoy is an associate editor of Journal of Musculoskeletal Disorders , Journal of orthopaedics and also sits on the editorial boards of Asian Spine Journal (ASJ) and the Indian Spine Journal (ISJ).

Dr.Ajoy has also won various National awards and has 133 peer reviewed publications and 40 textbook chapters.
